At work I’ve got a Nagios server setup to send text messages to my phone on critical notifications. \u00a0Lately something has been happening that causes sms notifications to fail.<\/p>\n

In smsd.log I find that I get the follow error message:<\/p>\n

+CME ERROR: 515 (device busy)<\/code><\/p>\n

As root\u00a0I’m able to reset the modem by doing this:
\n\/bin\/echo \"AT+CFUN=1\" > \/dev\/ttyUSB0
\n\/etc\/init.d\/smstools restart<\/code><\/p>\n
